Araiya Hotels and Resorts is going to open a new resort called Araiya Gir, A Mavintara Resort. This new resort is being built near the Gir National Park in the Indian state of Gujarat. This will be one of the hotels in Gir Park that will offer a different kind of travel experience, focused on staying close to nature while also enjoying good service and comfort. Araiya is known for building small luxury hotels in Gir that give guests a calm and peaceful stay. This new resort is special because it will only have villa-style rooms. These are private houses where people can stay, instead of the usual hotel rooms. Araiya Gir is being built for people who want to relax in a natural place but still want good-quality facilities and a clean, quiet stay.

About The Resort

Araiya Gir will feature 46 private villas. The villas will provide guests with a lot of space and complete privacy. The architecture of each villa will be elegant and simple, using natural materials that complement the local environment. There are two types of villas that are available at the hotel:

• 20 Villas Facing the Lake: They have an area of 750 square feet. They are constructed near a lake and offer pleasant views of the lake. These are suitable for those who enjoy viewing natural landscapes and prefer a peaceful atmosphere.
• 26 Forest Villas: These are larger villas with 1,000 square feet of area. They are built inside green forest areas so guests can feel close to nature. These villas are good for people who want to stay in the middle of a forest and enjoy being surrounded by trees and plants.

The lake-facing villas will be ready for guests starting on April 7, 2025. The forest villas will be available a little later. The resort will open in parts so that everything is carefully prepared and built with care.

Facilities In The Villas

Every villa at the resort will include many things to make guests feel comfortable and happy during their stay. These include:

• Free and fast Wi-Fi, so guests can stay connected to the internet easily.
• A small fridge with drinks and snacks, called a minibar. These items are chosen carefully.
• A coffee and tea maker so guests can make hot drinks in their own rooms.
• Special bath products that are made using local ingredients. These will help guests feel relaxed and refreshed.

The inside of the villas will look simple and natural. Materials like wood and stone from the local area will be used. The colors will be soft and earthy, matching the forest and lake surroundings.

Location Of The Resort

The resort is in a very good place. It is only 15 minutes away by car from Sinh Sadan Gate. This gate is the main entry point to Gir National Park. People go to the park from this gate to take safari rides and see wild animals like the Asiatic lion. It is easy for guests to go on safaris because the resort is close to the gate. The area around the resort is also quiet and not crowded, so guests can relax.

Other Facilities At The Resort (Coming In 2025)

Araiya Gir will be more than just a place to rest. It is also being developed as a place where people can enjoy many different activities and services. These facilities will be completed in different stages throughout the year 2025. These include:

• A restaurant that serves food all day. Guests can dine indoors or outdoors.
• Private dining areas outdoors for couples or families who want to eat in a quiet space.
• A spa and wellness center is set to open in October 2025. It will offer massages and treatments that help guests relax and feel better.
• A gym and a game room are scheduled to open in May 2025. These are for guests who want to exercise or play indoor games.
• A children's play area will also be available in May 2025.
• Green open spaces like lawns for events such as small parties or private celebrations.
• Charging stations for electric vehicles, so guests with electric cars can charge them easily.
• A yoga area and a cards room for people who want to do light activities or relax.
• A shop selling handmade items made by local people. Guests can buy gifts and support the local economy.
• Concierge services that will help guests plan their trips, book safaris, or arrange special experiences.

Special Activities – Araiya Experiences

One of the best things about Araiya Gir will be its special activity program called “Araiya Experiences.” These activities will help guests learn more about the area and enjoy their stay in a meaningful way. Some of the activities will include:

• Guided trips inside Gir National Park with expert nature guides. Guests have the chance to see animals, birds, and plants in nature.
• Visits to nearby villages to see how local people live. Guests can understand the culture and daily life of the area.
• Trips to local temples to learn about the spiritual history and culture.
• BBQ dinners outside at night, where guests can enjoy grilled food in a natural setting.
• Health retreats with meditation, yoga, and treatments as per Ayurveda.
• Tea tasting sessions where guests can try different kinds of tea from the region.

All of these activities are made to give guests a real and memorable experience. They are more than just sightseeing. This will be one of the hotels in Gir Park that will definitely help guests feel connected to the place they are visiting.

People Behind The Resort

This project is being developed by two main people:

• Amruda Nair is the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Araiya Hotels and Resorts. She comes from a family with a lot of experience in the hotel business. She wants Araiya Gir to be a calm place where people can enjoy good service in a natural environment.
• Dr. Vinay Bhomia is the CMD (Chairman and Managing Director) of Shyam Exotica and MD (Managing Director) of Sanjeevani Hospitals in Ahmedabad. He is the project partner for this resort. He is interested in tourism that helps nature and local communities.

Together, these two people are working to make a resort in Gir National Park that is both luxurious and environmentally responsible.
